Senior Assistant Director
(Human Resource Management) |
As a Senior Assistant Director (HRM), you will :-
 |
Provide strategic oversight and operational co-ordination for the wide spectrum of HR functions including change management, recruitment, performance and talent management, training and development. |
 |
Develop HR strategies and programmes to implement a learning culture and maximize human potential across all staff categories. |
 |
Identify emerging HR trends, issues and opportunities to strategically market the Department of Statistics as an Employer of Choice. |

Requirements:
 |
A Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies or Business Administration or other related discipline. |
 |
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience. HR experience in the public sector will have an added advantage. |
 |
Possess strong team leadership and people development skills. |
 |
Possess strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills as well as strategic thinking abilities. |

Statistician |
As a member of statistics team, you will
be responsible for the collection and compilation
of statistics in one or more specific fields,
conduct statistical research and analysis,
develop new systems and indicators to support
users' statistical requirements. You will participate in and work with a

comfortable working both alone and as a

Requirements:
 |
At least a good honours degree in Economics,
Mathematics, Statistics or other related disciplines and subjects with substantial quantitative content. Eg. Accountancy, Information Technology which are relevant for specific jobs. |

Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to learn and apply computer packages for statistical work. |
Any related work experience
is a plus.
