EU27 comprises Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Rep, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Rep, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Singapore’s trade with major trading partners such as Malaysia, EU27, China, US, Indonesia, Japan and Hong Kong increased in 2010 due to improved global economic conditions. Since 2009, the value of exports exceed imports for Singapore’s trade with China. In comparison, the value of imports exceeds exports for Singapore’s trade with the United States since 2006.
