Q: Why use E-survey?

E-Survey provides a fast and easy alternative to mail questionnaire. By using the E-survey service, you can submit survey return via the Internet, 24 hours a day.

Q: Is E-survey safe?

Yes, the E-survey service is safe. You need a web browser that supports the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for secure transmission of data. Data transmitted to us are encrypted and secured. Furthermore, your account access is protected against unauthorised access by the unique company reference number and Survey PIN.

Q: What is SSL?

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. The protocol allows client/server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, or message forgery.

Q: How do I ensure that the SSL is activated?

When the SSL is activated, you will see a padlock at the bottom right-hand corner of your browser (if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer), or a little key or padlock at the bottom left-hand corner of your browser (if you are using Netscape Navigator).

Q: When can I use E-Survey?

The E-survey service for the Business Expectations Survey is available from 1 March 2000.

Q: Where can I get help if I have difficulty using the E-Survey?

Please contact the officers-in-charge for assistance. Their names and contact numbers are indicated on the survey form.
