Training and Development


At DOS, we believe that our most important asset is our people. We place a strong emphasis on growing and developing our officers through job-specific and leadership training programmes.

There are opportunities for our officers to participate in overseas and local courses, study visits, international conferences and seminars, and inter-agency projects, to equip them with enhanced analytical and professional skills as well as advanced knowledge and expertise in specialised subject-matters.

We also provide opportunities for our officers to gain exposure and broaden their skills through job rotation within and beyond the Department.
