Retail sales, on a seasonally adjusted basis, increased by 5.8% in Jan 2010 compared to Dec 2009. Excluding motor vehicles, retail sales went up by 4.6%. The seasonally adjusted catering trade increased by 0.7% in Jan 2010 over the previous month.
