Overview

Statistics on living arrangement of residents in resident households are compiled by the Singapore Department of Statistics based on data collected from the Census of Population, General Household Survey and Comprehensive Labour Force Survey.
 
The resident population comprises Singapore citizens and permanent residents. A resident household refers to households where the household reference person is a Singapore citizen or permanent residents.
