Overview 

Statistics on religion are compiled by the Singapore Department of Statistics based on data collected from the Census of Population and the General Household Survey. Religion refers to the religious faith or spiritual belief of a person regardless of whether he/she regularly attends religious ceremonies in a temple, mosque, church or other religious building. He/she may or may not practise his/her faith or belief. It is as declared by the person.
