Infant Care and Childcare Services
Infant care services cater to infants aged 2 months to 18 months while childcare services cater to children aged 18 months to 6 years. Some childcare centres provide both infant care and childcare services for children aged 2 months to 6 years within the same centre. Centres may offer regular full-day, half-day and flexible programmes to cater to the different needs of parents and children.
Community Disputes Registered At The Community Mediation Centre
Refer to community and neighbours' disputes and do not include disputes that are resolved outside of the Community Mediation Centre (CMC) processes. The CMC provides voluntary mediation service for interpersonal disputes between neighbours, family members, friends, co-workers, landlords and tenants, and other types of interpersonal disputes that are not contractual or commercial.
Family Service Centres (FSCs)
FSCs provide support for vulnerable individuals and families with social and emotional issues. Social Work Practitioners at the FSCs provide case management support and also partner with other agencies to coordinate holistic support for clients to help them achieve stability, self-reliance, and social mobility.
Student Care Centres
These centres provide care and supervision to school-going children aged 7 to 14 years old (7 to 18 years old for students with special needs) outside school hours. All school-based student care centres (SCCs), as well as community-based SCCs that choose to register with MSF, may administer the ComCare Student Care Fee Assistance scheme for lower-income working families that need help affording student care fees.
Student Care Fee Assistance
ComCare Student Care Fee Assistance supports children from lower-income working families enrolled in student care centres (SCCs) or special student care centres (SSCCs) registered with MSF. This includes a one-off Start Up Grant to offset the initial costs of enrolling their child in the centre as well as subsidies for monthly fees.
