Overview 

Statistics on Public Safety include data on physical crime and scams and cybercrimes, along with statistics on arrests, penal population, emergency medical services, fire occurrences, and public safety perceptions.

Singapore's crime statistics are compiled from offences reported to the Singapore Police Force during the reference period instead of the time the offences were actually committed.
 
Data on fire occurrences are compiled by Singapore Civil Defence Force.
