Total amount of funding for developing and developed countries to promote the development, transfer, dissemination and diffusion of environmentally sound technologies
As part of the Singapore Green Plan 2030, Singapore is committed to promoting the development, transfer, dissemination and diffusion of environmentally sound technologies to achieve our ambitious sustainability goals. Singapore supports our fellow developing countries in capacity building programmes for sustainability and climate action. For example, the Singapore Cooperation Programme has seen over 160,000 participants from over 180 countries, territories, and international organisations since its launch in 1992. We also launched the Sustainability Action Package in 2022, with over 90 courses conducted under the SAP for more than 2,300 government officials to date.
