Singapore ensures that all citizens have equal access to fundamental resources such as education, healthcare and social protection. Singapore coordinates efforts across the whole-of-government to ensure that the impact of our policies on women are taken into account at all levels and stages in the design, planning and delivery of programmes.
Government expenditures are considered by our Parliament during the annual Committee of Supply, where members debate the policies and programmes of Ministries; as such, there is Parliamentary scrutiny over the implementation, outcome and impact of policies, including policies related to women's development and promotion of gender equality.
