Arterial Roads
Major arterial road predominantly carries through traffic from one region to another, forming principle avenues of communication for urban traffic movements. It interconnects expressways and minor arterial as well as with other major arterial roads.
Minor arterial road distributes traffic within the major residential and industrial areas. It is planned to optimise circulation within the area and facilitate through traffic between adjacent towns.
Bunker Sales
Refers to the volume of bunkers delivered within the Port of Singapore to vessels that are on international voyages.
Cruise Passenger Throughput
Refers to the sum of all embarking cruise passengers (i.e., those who arrived in Singapore by air or land but departed on a cruise), disembarking cruise passengers (i.e., those who arrived on a cruise ship but departed by other means) and full-cruise passengers (i.e., those who arrived and departed on the same cruise ship). The numbers include all cruise passengers who are international travellers, Singaporean citizens or permanent residents.
Expressways
Expressways form the primary network where all long distance traffic movements should be directed. It is planned to optimise long distance mobility from one part of Singapore to another.
Local Access
Refer to roads that give direct access to buildings and other developments and should connect only with primary access.
Primary Access
Primary access roads form the link between local accesses and arterial roads. It provides access to developments and through traffic is discouraged. However, where a development is also accessible by a local access road, the access shall be located at the local access road.
Singapore Registry of Ships
Refers to the total number and tonnage of vessels registered under the Singapore flag.
Total Container Throughput
Refers to the total number of containers (expressed in Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units) loaded and unloaded at the Port of Singapore. The figures include transhipment containers.
Total Cargo Throughput
Refers to the total volume of cargo loaded and unloaded at the Port of Singapore. The figures include transhipment cargo.
Vessel Arrivals
Refers to the number of vessels exceeding 75 Gross Tonnage that arrive at the Port of Singapore.
