AACs deliver a suite of "ABC + 2S" services, namely Active ageing programmes, Befriending/buddying support, info and referral to Care services, serve as the Social Connector for Social and Lifestyle interventions and serve as community nodes for Community Screening.
Starting from April 2021, Senior Activity Centres (SACs) began transitioning to Active Ageing Centres (AACs) in stages, and by 2024, all SACs are fully operating as AACs.
